All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
The oval aquamarine does nearly all the work. At 8.46 carats it fills the head end to end, held in four rounded prongs with the pale blue running clear from one edge to the other across a wide table, and it stands well up off the finger.
The diamonds are not around the stone but along the sides of it, pavé set in narrow rows down each arm of a split shank, stopping where the band turns plain and polished. 14K white gold keeps the whole setting cool so nothing warms the blue from underneath. Worn at size 7 the oval lies along the length of the finger and reads long rather than wide.
