Refund policy

Buying fine jewelry online should feel as safe as buying it in person. That's why every order includes a 7-day inspection period: time to see your piece up close and decide at home. If it isn't right, send it back for a full refund.

7-Day Inspection Period

You have 7 days from the day your order is delivered to inspect your piece. If it isn't everything you hoped for, request a return within that window for a full refund. There is no restocking fee.

Return Conditions

  • You're welcome to try the piece on, just as you would in a boutique. It must come back with no signs of wear, alteration, or damage, with the gemological appraisal and all tags intact.
  • Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Please use a tracked and insured service, as the piece remains in your care until it reaches us.
  • Pieces that have been resized or customized at your request are final sale, since that work is done specifically for you.
  • We don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different piece, return yours for a refund and place a new order.
  • If a return doesn't meet these conditions, we may decline it or apply a deduction for the piece's diminished value.

How to Start a Return

  • Request the return within 7 days of delivery. The fastest way is the chat on our website; you can also use the order page in your account or email support@jewelryauctionhouse.com with your order number.
  • We'll confirm the return address and packing instructions right away.
  • Once your return is approved, please ship the piece back within 3 business days.
  • Pack the piece securely with the appraisal and tags, and ship it back with tracking, insured for the full purchase price.
  • Please request a return before shipping anything back. Packages returned without prior authorization cannot be accepted or insured on arrival.

Refunds

Once your return arrives, we check that the piece is unworn and intact, then issue your refund to the original payment method, typically within 1–3 business days of receiving the return. Your bank may take a few additional days to post it.

Import duties or taxes paid to your local customs authority are not collected by us and can't be refunded by us; your customs office may allow you to reclaim them on returned goods.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every shipment is fully insured. In the rare event your piece arrives damaged or isn't the piece you ordered, contact us immediately through the chat or at support@jewelryauctionhouse.com. We'll make it right and handle the entire insurance claim process on your behalf, so you don't have to stress about the paperwork.

Order Cancellations

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and most ship the next business day. Need to cancel? Cancel directly from your order page, or contact us as soon as possible. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

European Union & United Kingdom

If your order is delivered within the European Union or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the right to return it within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification, in line with local consumer law. Pieces resized or customized to your specification are exempt. The same conditions apply: no signs of wear, appraisal and tags intact, and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Marketplace Purchases

This policy applies to purchases made on jewelryauctionhouse.com. Pieces purchased through a third-party marketplace are covered by that marketplace's own return policy.
