A white opal cabochon holds the middle of this cluster, wrapped by a full ring of round chrome diopside in deep forest green. The dome returns light evenly across its whole surface rather than breaking it into flashes, which reads quiet and soft next to the faceted green stones packed tight around it.
Two small white stones sit at opposite corners where the green ring meets the shoulders, and the white metal mount is kept narrow so the flower shaped head carries the piece on its own. It sits raised on the finger and reads close to the width of the band of skin it covers, with 1.88 carats of chrome diopside against 0.98 carats of opal.
