Every tanzanite here is oval and sits inside its own round open collar of gold plated silver, and those collars link directly to one another. The result is a chain of small circles with a violet blue center in each, rather than the tight stone to stone run of a standard four prong tennis line. There is real metal in the design, and it carries as much of the pattern as the stones do.
Tanzanite moves between blue and violet depending on how the light falls, and the warm gold tone around each stone throws that cool color forward. A concealed box clasp keeps the line unbroken at the front. At 7.25 inches it sits close to the wrist with 4.55 carats spread thin across the whole length.
