These drops build from three stones, an Ethiopian opal above, rhodolite through the middle, and black spinel weighting the base, twenty nine carats of contrast in each earring. Black rhodium plated sterling silver darkens the setting so the opal reads bright against it. At more than five centimeters long they are made to move and catch the light, and no second pair exists.
