All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
An oval kyanite sits north to south in four claws at the crown, its blue reading deeper at the ends of the stone and lighter across the middle where the light passes through. The shoulders are not plain: on each side the metal steps down in polished ribs alternating with short rows of small white stones, so the mount narrows in bands from the head to the back of the shank.
The effect on the hand is a low domed head that stays close to the finger, with the white stone work carrying light out to either side of the blue. Rhodium plated silver keeps everything on the same cool register.
