A single oval blue sapphire hangs upright at the drop, bracketed above and below by short diamond set bars that square the stone off and carry the line up into the bail. The whole drop runs 23 by 7 millimeters, which keeps it narrow, a thin bright column of white gold and deep blue rather than a broad plaque.
Worn, it settles just under the hollow of the throat and reads at a distance as one concentrated point of color, the diamonds registering as edge brightness more than as separate stones. 2.30 carats of sapphire against 0.12 through the diamonds.
