A cushion cut sapphire hangs inside a snug halo of round diamonds whose corners are softened, so the outline reads as a rounded square rather than a hard cornered one. Directly above it a short diamond set bar does the job of the bail, putting a second small point of light where the drop joins the chain.
The pendant runs 23 by 13 millimeters, wide enough to register as a shape at the neck instead of just a spark, and it hangs flat where the collarbones meet. White gold throughout, 2.30 carats of sapphire and 0.20 across the diamonds.
