Three oval amethysts lie east to west across the top of this ring, the middle one a shade larger than the two beside it, all held on prongs they share so the row sits almost flush end to end. The purple is even across all three, deep enough to hold its colour without going opaque at the girdle.
The shank is wide where it meets the setting and cut with shallow grooves across each shoulder, which throws a set of bright lines out to either side of the stones and makes the ring read broader than the row alone would. Sized 6 US.
