All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
An oval sapphire in very deep blue sits inside a full halo of small round diamonds, the head bezelled in yellow gold so a thin warm line runs between the blue and the white. The bail above is diamond set as well and takes up a fair share of the 24 millimeter length, which leaves the halo itself reading closer to 15 millimeters across at the neck. This is a compact round-faced pendant rather than a broad one.
Yellow gold is what gives the piece its contrast; against a blue this dark the warm rim is the thing that keeps the stone from closing up at a distance. The halo catches light around the whole circumference and holds the outline visible across a room.
