An oval blue sapphire sits at the top of this ring in four slim prongs, its blue deep and even across the table. There is no halo. Instead the shoulders open into a short run of oval white gold links, each one carrying a round diamond, so the shank reads as a length of chain running up to the stone.
That openwork keeps the metal light and the eye moving inward.
