The side stones are sized as punctuation rather than competition, and the plain 18K yellow gold band runs straight into the head without a break or a taper.
Warm metal pulls the blue toward its deeper register where the two meet. The head sits low, so at size 7 the ring covers the width of the finger without standing proud of it.
