A cushion cut sapphire in a dark, almost inky blue sits at the head, boxed in by a single row of round diamonds that follows the cushion outline instead of rounding it off. Yellow gold prongs reach in over the corners while the halo itself is set in white metal, so the frame stays crisp where it meets the warmer shank.
The band is thin and flat with no shoulder stones at all, which throws every bit of visual weight onto the head. Scale is restrained: the halo reads as a small square on the finger, and the 2.24 carat sapphire carries far more color than footprint.
