An emerald cut sapphire stands upright at the center, its long step cut facets throwing broad flat planes of light rather than the scatter a brilliant gives. There is no halo. The diamonds instead build in three descending tiers on each shoulder, a stepped geometric profile that climbs from the shank to the corners of the stone.
Everything around it is white metal, so the blue has nothing warm to react against and simply holds its own tone. The sapphire is 2.34 carats, the diamonds 0.18 carats across both sides. Ring size 7.
