Three stones read across the top: a 2.80 carat oval blue sapphire in the middle with a single round diamond set close against each side, both large enough to stand on their own rather than disappear into the setting. From there the shoulders continue in pavé, tapering into the white gold band.
The sapphire holds its color evenly from edge to edge, and because the flanking diamonds sit at the same height, the three stones read as one line across the finger. Size 7.
