An oval sapphire of 3.08 carats runs along the length of the finger in four yellow gold claws, lifted well clear of the band and left entirely unbordered. At that weight the stone spreads across most of the finger's width, which is why the setting has been kept to almost nothing.
The shoulders taper in from the band in white metal, each one set with a short run of small round diamonds totaling sixteen points, so a bright line leads the eye in from either side toward the blue. The band itself is narrow polished yellow gold. Ring size 7 US, custom sizing available.
