Two concentric rings of round diamonds circle the oval sapphire, an inner row set tight to the girdle and a wider outer row stepped down from it. The double halo pushes the head well beyond the stone's own footprint, so a 3.04 carat sapphire reads considerably larger than its weight suggests.
The band is plain polished white gold and deliberately narrow, which throws every bit of detail to the top of the ring. Surrounded by that much white metal and 0.38 carats of diamonds, the blue still holds the middle without help. It stands tall on the hand.
