At 3.12 carats the oval sapphire has the width to carry a halo that radiates rather than hugs. The round diamonds sit in white metal collets that point outward from the stone, so the head finishes in a sunburst outline instead of a smooth ring, and the gaps between the points let the gold show through.
The shank is plain polished yellow gold, narrow enough that from a step away the head reads as the entire ring. Diamond weight totals 0.38 carats across the surround. Ring size 7.
