A scalloped frame of small round diamonds follows the oval sapphire in gentle lobes rather than a smooth circle, giving the head a slightly antique outline. Four yellow gold claws hold the stone, and the blue inside is dark and saturated, holding its color right out to the edges of the table.
Below the head the shank is left entirely plain: no pavé, no engraving, just polished 18K yellow gold running clean around the finger. That restraint is deliberate, and it works. With the metal quiet the eye goes to the blue and to the ripple of light in the scalloped frame. In size 7 it sits proud of the finger and reads as a compact oval cluster.
