This is an X link bracelet rather than a straight line of stones. Thirty-three round blue sapphires alternate with polished white metal scrolls, each stone caught in the crossing point of a curl so metal and color take up roughly equal length around the wrist.
The sapphires are a dark inky navy that reads nearly black except where light strikes the table straight on, which is exactly what the bright rhodium scrolls between them are there to relieve. At 8.25 inches the bracelet has enough length to turn on the wrist, and a box clasp with a hinged safety closes it.
