White gold plating and pale blue topaz sit very close in tone here, so the flower reads as one cool surface with the claws almost disappearing into the stones. Five oval topazes form the petals of each blossom, set edge to edge around a sixth oval at the middle, and that center stone is ringed by a narrow band of tiny white stones that marks the eye of the flower.
The blue is light and clean, and because the petals face slightly different ways the color shifts from petal to petal as the head turns. At 17.3 millimeters in diameter each flower covers the lobe completely and stays flat against it rather than dropping.
