Oval cut blue topaz runs the full circuit of this tennis bracelet, each stone in its own four prong basket, the baskets linked head to tail so the line curves cleanly around the wrist. The ovals lie across the band rather than along it, which packs more color into every inch than a round cut line of the same length would.
The topaz is a pale sky blue and it lightens further against gold plated sterling silver, with the warm metal showing between baskets and breaking the run into distinct stones instead of one blue ribbon. Total weight is 10.18 carats over seven inches.
