Close to five carats of morganite in an elongated cushion cut fill the whole face of this ring, gripped at the corners by paired rose gold prongs. The band is the second event: it broadens into a flat shoulder carrying two parallel rows of pave diamonds that run from the head down each side of the shank.
Morganite's pale peach-pink and 14K rose gold sit within a shade of each other, so the stone reads as though it grew out of the metal instead of contrasting with it. The head is broad and the profile fairly flat for a stone this size, and at size 7 it spans the finger from edge to edge.
