Each earring is built as an open circle, ovals of green, orange, yellow, blue and pink sapphire ringed around the opening with white zircon set between them in rounds and small marquise shapes. The circle hangs from a marquise plaque of zircon, so the color begins narrow at the top and opens out below. Gold plated sterling silver warms every hue in the rotation and keeps the claw settings visually thin.
At 23 by 31 millimeters these read as front facing hoops rather than drops, and the empty center keeps a piece of that scale light at the ear. The sapphires total 3.52 carats across the five colors, with 0.58 carats of zircon threading between them.
