The rubellite here is a substantial stone, nearly five carats of the pink to red tourmaline that carries the name, and it sets the scale for the whole ring. More than half a carat of diamonds surrounds it, with 9K yellow gold underneath to warm the color. A cocktail ring sized at 8 US, no other will carry this stone.
