The rubies run in pairs. Two ovals sit shoulder to shoulder, then a narrow bar carrying two rows of small diamonds interrupts the line, then two more ovals, so the red advances in couplets rather than as one uninterrupted row. Each oval lies east to west in a four claw head, and the red carries a pink cast that the yellow gold underneath pushes warmer again.
Those diamond bars are set in white metal against the 14K yellow gold band, so the bracelet reads two tone from a short distance, white steps breaking through warm gold and red. Seven inches, closing with a hinged box clasp and a folding safety catch that sits flush into the line.
