All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Oval rubies, one to each ear, sit in four rounded bead prongs over an open basket, so light reaches the stones from the sides as well as the face. There is nothing else on these studs. No halo, no frame, no gallery detail, which leaves the red to carry the whole earring across 7 by 5 millimeters.
White gold keeps the mounts nearly invisible from the front, so what shows is a pair of small red ovals lying flat to the lobe. At any distance they read as a single point of color, and they sit low enough to stack with a second stud above them.
