A round ruby sits at the middle of each stud inside a complete halo of small round diamonds, the halo beads set close enough that the outer ring reads as one continuous line of white. Yellow gold behind and between the stones picks up the red and carries it a shade deeper.
The face measures 8 by 7 millimeters, so these stay flat and quiet on the lobe. The halo does the work of making the front read wider than the 0.58 carat center.
