The tanzanite is an oval past six carats, violet through the body and turning bluer toward the ends, and it is set inside two full rings of round diamonds rather than one. The inner halo sits tight to the girdle, a line of white gold separates it from the outer halo, and the pair of them carries the face far wider than the stone alone.
Squared, diamond set blocks step out at each shoulder, so a geometric outline frames what is otherwise an oval. The ring stands tall in a size 7, with 0.60 carats of small diamonds worked around 6.20 carats of tanzanite.
