One cushion cut peridot fills each stud, held at the four corners by claws that reach in over a soft rectangular outline. A single row of small white round stones runs the full perimeter as a close halo, following the cushion shape rather than a circle, which squares off the way the earring reads at the lobe.
The green is bright and faintly yellow, and rhodium plated silver holds a cool white edge that keeps the color from turning olive. At 11 by 9 millimeters these sit flat against the ear with the halo doing the work at a distance.
