Peridot at this size shows its yellow side, and the twenty-one ovals here sit closer to a bright spring green than to olive. Set east to west in four prong baskets and linked one to the next, they form an unbroken line around the wrist with only a narrow bridge of white metal visible between stones.
At 8.60 carats over 7.25 inches the bracelet stays light and drapes easily rather than holding its shape. The rhodium plated setting is kept low and narrow so the green carries the whole length, and a box clasp with a double safety catch closes it.
