All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
A round brilliant pink topaz fills the center of each drop, ringed by fourteen small round rhodolites in a close halo. The two pinks are deliberately not the same pink: the center stone is lighter, a peach leaning toward coral, while the border sits several shades deeper toward raspberry. That step in tone is what gives the halo its definition, since the stones themselves are set almost flush.
Yellow gold plating runs through the claws, the halo beads and the lever back above, so warm metal meets warm stone and the earring stays in a single register with no cool break anywhere in it. At 32.5 by 15.2 millimeters each one reads as a compact disc of color close to the lobe rather than a long dangle, though the lever back leaves enough play for a little movement.
