Twenty-two oval garnets run east to west around the wrist, each one held in its own four prong basket and joined to the next by a short bar link, so the line flexes and lies flat rather than standing proud. The color is a dark wine red that holds even under strong light, deep enough that the stones read almost black at the edges and clear crimson through the middle.
Rhodium plated silver keeps the baskets bright against that darkness, which is what separates one stone from the next along a 7.25 inch run. It fastens with a box clasp and a hinged safety catch that folds flush into the line.
