Between every two oval rubies sits a small round diamond in its own squared white gold collet, so the bracelet alternates one long stone and one bright point down its entire length. The ovals are laid east to west, which keeps the profile low and the width of the line even the whole way around the wrist.
The diamonds are small enough to punctuate rather than compete, cutting the red into measured lengths instead of interrupting it. In 14K white gold the two colors stay distinct. At 7 inches the bracelet closes with a concealed box clasp and a hinged safety catch.
