This is the straightforward version of the form, done properly. One unbroken row of round rubies runs clasp to clasp, each stone held in four claws, the settings linked so closely that almost no silver shows between one and the next. Turned on edge the line stays flexible and follows the curve of the wrist without gapping.
The color holds even along the full length, a saturated red leaning slightly pink under bright light. Four and a half carats divided across that many small rounds reads as a continuous band of color rather than a handful of larger points. A box clasp with two figure eight safety catches closes it.
