Five pear cut amethysts open as petals around a single small white stone at the flower's center, points turned inward so the violet gathers toward the middle and lightens out at the tips. Below and slightly to the side, an eight millimeter round pearl nests against the bloom at the point where the shank crosses itself.
The remaining white zircons run in two short lines along the shoulders, five to a side, drawing the eye up the band toward the flower rather than scattering light across the face. The bypass holds pearl and flower beside one another instead of stacked, so the ring reads as two objects meeting on the finger. Rhodium plated silver keeps everything but the amethyst to a cool white. Ring size 8 US.
