Cushion cut amethysts fill this bracelet edge to edge, each stone squared with softened corners, held in four prongs, with rope textured rails running down both sides of the line. At nearly twenty nine carats the stones are large enough that the bracelet reads as a solid band of lilac from across a room.
The color runs light rather than dark, closer to lavender than to grape, and the paler tone lets the cushion facets show their pattern instead of going flat and dark at the culet. Sterling silver appears only in the rails and prongs. At 7 inches the bracelet closes with a box clasp and a hinged safety catch.
