Emerald cut amethysts carry this bracelet, twenty one of them set corner to corner down the line in four claw heads, each a clean rectangle with clipped corners and a broad open table. The purple is strong and even, and step cutting lets you look straight down into the stone rather than across a scatter of small facets.
Between every pair of amethysts sits a tight cluster of round rhodolite garnets, three to a joint, sixty three in all, in a pink red that lifts the purple exactly where the two colors touch. Rhodium plated sterling silver holds the whole run at 7.75 inches for 21.83 carats in total.
