All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Each earring is built as two linked openwork ovals, a short one at the top and a long one hanging below it, both outlined in dense pave of tiny black spinels that draws the silhouette in hard dark line. Amethysts sit inside the frames rather than filling them: a stacked pair in the upper oval, then a longer vertical run in the lower one arranged either side of a spinel set bar, with air showing through between the stones.
The contrast is graphic. Black outline, mid purple interior, and very little bright metal left visible anywhere on the front. Twenty-two amethysts carry the color across the pair against 268 spinels doing all the drawing. At 63 millimeters these fall well below the lobe, and because the lower oval is hinged from the upper it swings on its own, so the two dark frames move slightly out of step with each other.
