One pear cut amethyst carries each of these earrings, held in a full bezel of sterling silver that follows the stone from its point down around the shoulder. The purple sits deep and even across the crown and darkens toward the tip, where the facets crowd together. There are no accent stones anywhere on the pair.
Ten carats between the two drops, hung from plain French wires so each teardrop swings clear of the lobe. At 40 by 11 millimeters they run long and narrow, the smooth silver rim giving the violet a hard clean edge.
