A larger oval amethyst takes the center, encircled by a full ring of smaller round amethysts, and the entire cluster is dropped into an openwork lattice of rose toned metal that rises around it like a woven collar. The lattice is the part worth noticing. The pierced work throws warm metal color up between the stones and stops a head this wide from reading as a solid disc.
On the hand it covers most of the finger between the knuckles, proper cocktail scale, and it sits high enough to catch light from the side as well as from above. Rose toned plating against violet pulls the pink out of the amethyst where the two meet. Size 7.
