All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Three emerald cut amethysts sit along the front of each hoop, every one held in a beaded milgrain bezel that traces the cut corners of the stone. Between them, stations of tiny round white topaz are set into white metal, so the run around the curve alternates saturated purple, a flash of white, then purple again.
The two metal colors do deliberate work. Yellow gold plating warms the amethyst and pulls out the red edge in its purple, while the white settings keep the topaz cold and separate. At 25 millimeters across and 6 millimeters wide the hoops hug the lobe on a hinged wire, and at conversational distance they read as blocks of color rather than as sparkle.
