Five oval amethysts sit in a row along the top of a wide domed sterling silver band, set down into the metal so their tables finish nearly flush with the surface. They share the 0.78 carats between them, which is why each one reads as a small saturated point of violet rather than a single mass of color.
There is no head and no gallery. The band is the setting, rounded on both edges and polished bright, so the ring keeps a low profile and the stones sit level with the silver around them. Ring size 7.
