All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
One stone, one setting, nothing else on it. The oval amethyst is bezel set inside a thick polished collar of silver with no claws anywhere, so the outline stays an unbroken ellipse and the entire face of the stone is left open. The crown is cut into broad panels that carry the lilac in wide planes rather than fine points of light, and at nine carats the oval runs lengthwise across nearly the full width of the finger.
The shank is wide and flat, tapering from the bezel to the base with a soft step at each shoulder, which gives the ring an architectural look from the side as well as from above. On a size 6 the bezel stands high enough to take a rim of light all the way around.
