A single emerald cut amethyst holds the centre of this halo ring, its long step facets running the length of the finger rather than across it. At 5.10 carats the stone reads as one clean rectangle of deep violet, and the row of small round diamonds tracing its outline keeps the edge bright where the purple would otherwise go dark against the metal.
The sterling silver mount is deliberately quiet, a plain tapered shank with no engraving and nothing competing with the stone. It sits at a size 8 and wears as a cocktail ring rather than an everyday band.
