Twelve pear cut rhodolite garnets open outward around an oval amethyst like petals, each point held in its own pair of prongs. The garnets swing from raspberry to a lighter rose depending on which one catches the light, while the amethyst at the middle is paler and cooler, so the cluster reads as one graded field of purple rather than two colors set side by side.
Sterling silver stays deliberately quiet: bright prongs, a plain tapered shank, nothing competing with the flower head. It sits high and spans most of the finger's width, a cocktail ring in size 7 US.
