Two cushion cut amethysts, square at nine millimeters and rounded off at the corners, each held by four slim white claws that grip right at the edge so nearly the whole outline stays in view. The purple sits deep and even across the table, and the cushion's crossed flashes reappear low in the stone as the head turns.
