A pear cut aquamarine of 2.09 carats sets the whole shape of this cocktail ring, point toward the fingertip, its pale blue held by prongs at the tip and the shoulders. Thirty-two round diamonds trace the outline in a close halo that follows every curve of the pear and closes to a sharp V at the point.
White gold throughout keeps the palette cool and lets the aquamarine stay the palest thing on the hand. The shoulders open into a small split beneath the halo, lifting the head off the finger and leaving daylight under the stone.
