The diamonds here are large enough to count. Rather than a fine pave line, they ring the oval aquamarine as separate stones, each in its own claws, and twenty of them carrying six tenths of a carat means the frame reads as a circle of individual flashes instead of a continuous glow.
The row does not stop at the halo either. The last stones on each side step down onto the shoulder, graduating smaller as the shank narrows before it opens into a plain polished band with a cut away gallery beneath the head. The aquamarine itself is a pale, even blue that the white gold keeps cool. Ring size 7 US.
