All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Two aquamarines to each earring, one at the top and one at the bottom, with the zircons doing all of the connecting in between. A round aquamarine sits at the post in three claws. Below it hangs a bezel set zircon, then a short crossbar of three more, then a further bezel, and finally the second and larger aquamarine at the base of the drop.
That bottom stone is the clever part. It is claw set inside an open circle rather than a halo, with a clear gap of air between its girdle and the frame, and the circle carries pave zircons along two opposing arcs while the other two stay plain polished metal. The aquamarine appears to float in the middle of it. The color is a pale watery blue with a great deal of transparency, and since every joint in the drop is hinged the earring moves in four separate places over its 33 millimeters.
